1. Who we are

ChatOven Admin is published by TechOven Solutions. The App connects to your configured ChatOven / WordPress chat backend and uses Firebase Cloud Messaging for optional push notifications.

2. Information we process

• Account credentials you enter (site URL, admin email, password or API tokens) to authenticate with your chat server.
• Chat data — session metadata and messages needed to display and reply to visitor conversations.
• Device push token (FCM) — so we can deliver notifications for new visitors, human requests, and messages (when enabled).
• Optional profile photo — stored only on your device if you choose to set one.
• Basic technical data — such as app version and connectivity status needed to keep the service working.

3. How we use information

• Sign you in and keep your session secure on the device.
• Load, sync, and send chat messages through your configured backend.
• Deliver push notifications you enable in settings.
• Improve reliability and troubleshoot connection issues.

We do not sell personal data. Chat content remains with your configured backend (your website / ChatOven server). Firebase is used for push notification delivery.

4. Permissions (Android)

• Internet — required for login and chat.
• Notifications — optional alerts for new chats and messages.
• Camera / photos — optional; only if you set a profile picture.

5. Data storage and sharing

Login tokens and preferences are stored securely on your device (encrypted storage where available).

Chat and account data are processed by the backend URL you configure. Push tokens may be registered with Firebase and your chat server so notifications can be delivered.

We do not share your data with third parties for advertising.

6. Retention and deletion

Local tokens and preferences are removed when you log out of the App.

Server-side chat history follows your website / ChatOven backend retention rules. To delete account or conversation data on the server, contact your site administrator or emailtechovensolutions@gmail.com.

7. Children's privacy

The App is intended for business / website administrators and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Security

We use HTTPS for network communication and secure on-device storage for credentials. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please protect your device and login details.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
